Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Asked app ("Asked," "the app," "we," or "us"). By installing or using Asked on your Shopify store, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

1. Who we are

Asked is operated by TradeHawk HQ, an independent Shopify app developer. Contact: support@useasked.com.

2. What Asked does

Asked is a Shopify embedded app that lets merchants display a single post-purchase question on their Shopify Thank you page and view the responses in a dashboard. The app is sold and delivered through the Shopify App Store.

Asked costs $19 USD per month. New installs include a 7-day free trial. After the trial, your Shopify store will be billed monthly through Shopify's billing system.

How we collect and handle data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Asked, you also agree to that policy.

8. Intellectual property

Asked, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is the property of TradeHawk HQ. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your Shopify store while your subscription is active. You retain ownership of the content you configure (survey questions, answer choices) and the response data collected through your store.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep Asked available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control (including Shopify or hosting provider outages). We will make reasonable efforts to communicate scheduled maintenance.

10. Disclaimers

Asked is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that response data will be free from inaccuracies.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeHawk HQ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of Asked. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the app is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold TradeHawk HQ harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from (a) your use of Asked, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any law or regulation governing the surveys you run through the app.

13. Termination

You may stop using Asked at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if Shopify removes the app from its store. After termination, we will delete your shop's data following the timeline described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify merchants through the app or by email. Continued use of Asked after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah, except where prohibited by applicable law.
